Year | Airplane | Tail number | Horsepower | Bulk Dry Rate | Wet Rate |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1980 | Piper Warrior | N8145V | 160 H.P. | $100 | $140 |
1977 | Piper Archer | N7620F | 180 H.P. | $100 | $145 |
1977 | Piper Archer | N70HF | 180 H.P. | $100 | $145 |
Dry rate is our default rate. It is a Bulk rate for students and pilots with
valid payment methods in place. It allows the pilot to have the greatest
amount of control of the cost of flying. Also reduces the time and expense
required for accounting.
Just stop by the FBO and you can set up an fuel account with your payment method
on file. At the end of each flight give the fueler your name and tell
them, "tabs plus two both sides." They will charge it to your card, and
email you a receipt. It's also a good way to build Credit card rewards.
The Wet rate is rarely used. And is designed to be prohibitively expensive.
Don't be afraid of the dry rate, it allows you to use power settings that may save you
2 gallons per hour and only cost you 10 knots of airspeed.
If fuel is $5 a gallon, you save $10 per hour and arrive just 10 mins later
on a 2 hour flight.
Prices are subject to change and do not include applicable taxes.
